ADC will transform Lagos, says party’s campaign boss | The Guardian Nigeria News

ADC’s newly-appointed national representative on Lagos’ campaign council, Mabel Oboh, said the party was determined to transform Lagos state once and for all if elected to power in 2023.

Oboh, who is currently the African Democratic Congress’s director for national diversity and inclusion, said in a statement released Thursday that she was delighted to be appointed national director of the ADC to oversee Funsho Doherty’s Guber campaign.

She said: “We have no time to waste. All hands are on deck and ADC is poised to unseat the ruling party this time. It is time for a third party of power to take over Lagos and that party is ADC and we are ready to finally overhaul the state.

“ADC will bring ‘new ideas’ to the administration of the state that stand firmly on our party’s vision of growing Lagos State exponentially.”

Of the candidate for the ADC governorship, Oboh said, “Funsho Doherty is the most competent to govern the state among the candidates contending for the Lagos top spot. He would invest in intangible assets such as industry (among his other cardinals) to get Lagos’ economy back on track and attract foreign investors again.
